Looks totally great! I've been trying to get my hubs to do it for me!! Do you have textured walls though? We do and I've been wondering if it'll look wierd with the texture, or if we'll have to do some sort of backing before the trim?

ReplyDeleteThank you! Our wall are flat so I am not sure how it would look with textured walls. You could buy thin backing and put it underneath. I know some people prefer that look anyways.
@ Chris
ReplyDeleteYes I did use a nail gun and compressor. It made the job super easy! I am in LOVE with my brad nailer! ;)

I love this look! I want to do it as a surround for my bathtub. The previous owners used CARPET. SERIOUSLY? Ugh.
ReplyDelete@ Jordan,
ReplyDeleteI think it would look great in a bathroom! Carpet really... that is sick, haha ;) Let me know if you get it done, I would love to see it!

ReplyDeletewe love your room. looking for the wood you used though, and not finding it at lowes. do you remember any other details about the pieces you used?
ReplyDeleteHi Anonymous,
ReplyDeleteWe used 1 inch x 4ft white board precut wood slats. I found them at the very beginning of our isle at Lowes in cubbies under the open stock lunmber. I hope this helps! :)
