I cant tell you how many times I have heard the words " You are such a Martha Stewart" (haha) I just love crafting, diy, painting, sewing, and home decorating. It gives me great satisfaction to look around my house and say " I MADE THAT!"

Photo Prop Beds

I wanted to share with you some cute photo props, I made for my AWESOME Photographer friend Amy! She did our Fall Family Pictures last year. They turned out GREAT!!! :D

Amy found these adorable prop beds on etsy, and they looked SO EASY to make! I told her I would love to give them a try. Here is my inspiration from Sally Bubblegum Etsy Shop

This bed is ADORABLE, but it cost $89...  Here are my plans! I made mine for a little over $10!!!

I had Lowes do all the cutting for me, so all I had to do was come home and nail it together! How AWESOME is that!!! I used my brad nail gun with 1 1/2 brads. :)

***Update*** Here are some CUTE shots Amy just got for me!!!

I also came up with a tuffed headboard bed too! :) I just cut the shape I wanted out of thin plywood, and then drilled small holes where I wanted the tuffs to be. Next I glued the foam over the plywood, and cut off the excess. All that was left was to added the fabric over that, and sewed on the buttons!

Here it is!!! I am just in love with the look of it! Didn't Amy get the cutest shot? Her little model is just to ADORABLE for words!

Easy enough right, so do you think you are going to make one? They would be CUTE doll beds too, and you cant beat the price! Hope you guys have a GREAT WEEK!!!

xoxo,
  Jeni

  2. Totally ADORABLE!! Especially LOVE the white furry looking mattress! You can also use just the right end table turned upside down!! There a TONS of them on Pinterest & Etsy that are for dog beds!! I know its CRAZY to think that, but they are ADORABLE!!! Do a search to see the creativity! Some of them are selling for $200!!! I have been looking around trying to find just the right one or two to use for my 3 doggies!! Can't wait for Garage Sale season around here!!! Michele Webb

  6. That is so adorable! I saw some on Etsy as well, but found them to be quite pricey. Then I saw some at a local store, but they weren't very nice. Now, yours look just right AND the price is great too! Lol. :) I'm going to make one for my sister!

  17. Just came across this post on Pinterest and have a couple of questions. For the second bed, did you use a jigsaw to cut the plywood or how did you cut it? Also, I love the little legs on this bed! Where did they come from? Thanks for inspiring me :)

  18. This is really helpful content and very informative there is no doubt about it. I found this one pretty fascinating and it should go into my collection. Very good work! I am Impressed. We appreciate your work. I am very comfortable and pleased to come here. Thank you very much.
A removable full-size bassinet is supported by solid construction and allows you to continue using the bed as a double bed as your child grows. Its special design allows you to place the bed right next to where you sleep.
